Frederic Tranchand

A former orienteering specialist with seven world medals and nearly 85 international selections, Fred successfully switched to trail running a few years ago, where he has distinguished himself in major international races, notably on the Golden Trail Series circuit. He has won prestigious events, notably on the Skyrunning circuit, and has regularly ranked among the world's best in all of his races.

Renowned for his speed and versatility over short distances, Fred is one of France's leading trail runners.

Fred recently distinguished himself by participating in the 2025 World Championships and winning, making him the new reigning world champion in short trail running.
