Emily Harrop
Originally from Saint-Foy in Tarentaise, Emily Harrop is recognized as the new queen of ski mountaineering. An endurance sport in the mountains, combining skiing and mountaineering, this winter discipline requires versatility and technique, skills that Emily perfectly demonstrates in her exceptional performances in the many international competitions in which she has participated. The young woman is consolidating her place among the world's best ski mountaineers following her victory in the 2023/2024 Gros Globe de Cristal.
The Savoyard grew up surrounded by mountains, forging her love of skiing from an early age. Representing the 3 Vallées ski area, and more specifically the resort of Courchevel, Emily has built up a breathtaking list of achievements and continues her meteoric rise in ski mountaineering.

“Ski mountaineering is a way for me to get to know myself, to grow and to experience pure, intense emotions, always in the spirit of fun and camaraderie.
A mountain sport that combines technical skill and performance—that's what I love about this discipline.”
